Our Story
Lifetime of Growth
Momentum was founded on a personal belief that enrichment activities unlock hidden potential and provide meaningful experiences for kids. Our founders grew up experiencing how extracurricular activities can shape your confidence, identity and ambition. These programs were never just time fillers — they helped us build meaningful relationships, face challenges and experience moments that expanded how we saw the world.
We carry that forward today, by making access to great programming more convenient and consistent – so more kids can discover what lights them up.

Meet Our Team
Ali is a mom of two who believes kids’ activities should be fun and deeply enriching.
Born in Korea and moving to Canada at age 10, she grew up playing classical violin and enjoyed art classes and learning to swim. These experiences gave her confidence, life skills, and a love of learning – values she carries into her role as a parent and founder of Momentum.
Before starting Momentum, Ali worked as a CPA, leading financial reporting and corporate accounting functions. She began her career at PwC and is a graduate of Ivey Business School.
